MYKONIAN ROOF COVERING WITH THASSOS PEBBLES
In a Mykonian landscape, where one of its basic features is the white details, pebbles of Thassos with its white color fully harmonize with it. The snow-white pebbles Thassos was used to decorate the roof of Mykonian residence. Except to the aesthetic character that it imparts, practically white colour helps to reflect the sun and maintain the temperature of the building.
